Buttermilk Soap on a Rope Bars are one of our natural range of soaps.  It has been lovingly handcrafted from luxurious skin loving ingredients including buttermilk, and is both unscented and uncoloured.  It is fabulous for sensitive skin.  Buttermilk gives soap a bubbly creamy lather and a beautiful feel on your skin, both during and after use.  It is quite often an addition to soaps for babies.  This soap has a rope inserted during the pouring process, so you can hang it to dry.  It’s also very handy if you tend to drop the soap a lot.

Handmade soap is great for dry skin as during the saponification process (turning ingredients to soap), natural glycerine is created.  This natural glycerine draws moisture to the skin so it retains its natural moisture, leaving your skin soft and supple.

Ingredients:  Australian extra virgin Olive oil, Buttermilk, Coconut oil, Soybean oil, Sodium hydroxide, Organic unrefined shea butter, Apricot kernel oil, Castor oil Australian White Kaolin Clay, virgin organic hemp seed oil, and Salt.

Each regular bar of Buttermilk Soap on a Rope weighs a minimum of 151 grams nett when packaged. Because my soap is hand cut, sometimes bars are bigger or smaller.

This is a cold process soap that has been completely mixed and poured by hand.  This means that every batch and single bar will be unique.  Each soap is hand cut and once cured, is packaged in a biodegradable cellophane bag with label attached (unless otherwise requested).  Your parcel will arrive in paper and cardboard based packaging to protect your special purchase, and ensure it arrives in tip top condition.

Tip:  Place your handmade soaps on a soap holder between uses, away from the water stream or splashes of the shower.  This will allow them to dry out and helps them last longer.  Get the most use out of your soap – soggy soap just melts away.
